Beautiful, vintage HO scale Athearn Baltimore & Ohio EMD GP9 Diesel Locomotive, in New Condition in Original Box. Road # 5604, Stock # 3152. Take a look at the photos (enlarged) and see what you think. (Pardon any camera flash reflection.) ALL factory-installed detail parts are present as loco has been test-run ONLY! Unit track-tested excellent/smoothly, for just a few feet in both directions on a straight track to confirm it runs. Headlight illuminates. The trucks are both powered by dual brass flywheels with all-wheel drive. The body is in great/new shape with NO chips or scratches. As can be seen in last 3 photos, all the wheels are extremely clean and show no significant wear. Loco has quite obviously been no more than test-run. The add-on metal handrails and unopened manilla envelope with the add-on detail parts are present. You can see the handrails in 9th photo with the paperwork, and they will be safely stored behind the longest foam piece so they don’t scratch the body during shipping. Box is lightly shelf-worn, and it still remains in excellent/solid condition. Original paperwork is included and dated February, 1997. Loco is not DCC Ready. “Buy It Now” price offered.
